Garden Dominion Supply (GDS) is a quickly growing greenhouse & cultivation supply distributor in Hagerstown, MD and is currently looking to expand it's team!

This position is for Driver / Growth Associate. Day-to-day duties include the following:

• Delivering Orders - The primary responsibility of the Driver / Growth Associate is to deliver pallet / box orders on a 28' Non-CDL box / straight truck to our customers. Full training will be given to the applicant to ensure the driver's confidence.
• Ensuring On-Time Deliveries - On-time deliveries are crucial for growers. Let's work together to ensure that deliveries arrive on time.

This position also includes the responsibilites of a GROWTH Associate. G*rowing Tips to customers, Receiving Goods, Organizing, Working on shipping orders, Transporting / Delivering Goods, and H*elping customers.

• Giving Growing Tips To Customers - We'll teach you what you need to know to become a grow expert! No previous experience needed!
• Receiving Goods - We'll give you the hands on training you'll need to operate an electric lift to receive goods from trucks and to safely put them away in our store / warehouse. No previous experience needed!
• Organizing - You'll assist our team with consistently keeping our store / warehouse clean and tidy for both our team and our customers.
• Working on Orders - eCommerce is what powers us. Pick, pack, and ship -- it's what we do during our "downtime".
• Transporting / Delivering Goods - We'll give you the hands on training you'll need to make deliveries. We operate a safe fleet. We'll only send you out once we're all confident. Experienced preferred, but not needed!
• Helping customers - We double as a retail store. Helping customers locate what they need, check them out, and help them load up is all part of the gig. Some would say this is the best part of it all as we have some exceptional customers!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Must be willing to work weekends (on rotation)

PERFERRED:

• Store Management Experience
• Horticulture / Growing Experience
• Delivery / Driving Experience

SCHEDULE:

• The typical schedule is Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday. Saturday's are done on rotation with the whole team.
